A Schoolhouse Nursery
Bridgend
Explore, develop and learn.

At Princess of Wales Day Nursery, we pride ourselves on being a close-knit team that is dedicated to creating a warm, family like atmosphere. Our aim is to ensure every child feels cherished and has a wonderful and inspiring experience at nursery.
We have dedicated rooms, each thoughtfully designed to create a natural and homely environment to inspire our young children to explore, develop and learn.
Our main play room gives the children an excellent opportunity to be curious, adventurous, play and have fun. Our spaces are equipped with age appropriate resources and materials that support a wide range of developmental learning experiences. By combining a supportive staff team with engaging play experiences, we aim to make every day at nursery a joyful adventure for your child.
A wonderful environment for our babies to be well cared for and their individual needs met. This nurturing space exudes a sense of calm and homeliness, creating a comforting atmosphere where babies feel safe and secure. Enriched with authentic treasures and natural resources, we invite little ones to explore and discover at their own pace.
Our spacious outdoor area is designed for all ages. The Toddler and Pre-School section features three distinct textured gardens: a safety surface perfect for bikes, scooters, and building; a bark-covered adventure area equipped with a slide and look out tower and a grassy space, ideal for imaginative play. With a Summerhouse and hands on learning in our ‘veg patch where children can grow their own vegetables.’ Additionally, our canopy ensures that outdoor play can continue all year around, regardless of the weather, supporting consistent physical activity and exposure to fresh air.
The Under 2’s Section offers a secure garden area where the youngest children can safely enjoy the outdoors on safety surface. A favourite among the little ones, our sand pit, and natural treasures enhance sensory experiences and creativity. Soft, cosy areas are provided for rest and relaxation, while their nearby planting areas stimulate their developing senses.
We offer a reliable and convenient school drop off & pick up service for local schools, designed to support busy working parents/carers.
At the front of our nursery, we have 5 designated parking spaces specifically for parents. These spaces are conveniently located to facilitate easy drop off and pick up of children.

Meet the team
Kasey Williams
Nursery Manager
Kasey has been an integral part of Schoolhouse’s journey since 2018. She initially led our Under 2’s room and later took on the role of Deputy Manager. Kasey’s commitment to high standards and her passion for early childhood education naturally led her to the position of Nursery Manager. In this role, she is driven to provide the highest quality childcare and enriching play opportunities for children of all ages.
In 2024, Kasey embarked on her own parenting journey, welcoming her baby daughter into the world. This personal experience of motherhood has profoundly enriched her professional role. Watching her daughter grow and develop into a unique individual has given Kasey a deeper understanding of the joys and challenges that parents face. Her dual perspective as both a professional and a parent enables her to provide exceptional care and guidance, making childcare one of the most rewarding jobs in her eyes.
