“You can design and create and build the most wonderful place in the world but it takes people to make the dream a reality.” – Walt Disney
Never was a truer word spoken in our opinion!
Yes, we have great facilities, stimulating toys, a healthy varied menu and accreditations in abundance … but when you entrust your child to us each day, we want you to feel confident that they are happy, loved and respected. That’s why we strive to attract and retain the highest calibre staff – born carers, who show respect, encourage individuality, readily give praise, love to laugh, and who share our passion for nurturing and shaping the next generation.

Rachel BurleyOperations Manager Schoolhouse is a great place to be a child- it’s a great place to work too! Rachel first started with the company in 2000 and has worked in many roles, she now sits with Head Office as one of the most experienced childcare workers in Swansea. Guided by Schoolhouse’s tagline ‘Together we enjoy learning, encourage confidence and love life’, Rachel hopes her passion and enthusiasm for quality childcare will contribute to encouraging staff to provide inspiring activities and discover the unpredictable beauty of their profession. Using her ubundance of knowledge gained throughout her career, she is now able to put this endless supply of playfulness into practice with her own children. Her little Man Charlie and busy Toddler Tilly continue to inspire her work in researching best early years practice and creating effective nursery environments that she would happily leave her own children in. It is Rachel’s pleasure to support our nurseries and with her experience of being a mother as well as a professional it allows her to step into each nursery and ‘feel’ ‘observe’ and ‘wonder’ what it would be like to be a parent or child. It goes without saying that Rachel is genuinely committed to put our little people and families first. |
